He was self-inspired to design at an early age. He received a Bachelors of Arts in Publishing Studies, majoring in Design and Illustration at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. JP has 10 years of active experience in graphic design and art direction, as well as photography.
His eye for design extends beyond his digital media work. He is naturally drawn to analyze the visual world around him. Whether it be the architecture that surrounds him, the sunlight setting around Accra or an image conjured up inside his head, he constantly breaks down his graphical world and examines each of its unique parts. He seeks understanding not only of how things look, but how they work and how he can make such things and more with his two hands, and other parts if necessary.
His style is rooted from his deep sense of symmetry. His graphics are striking and get straight to the point. Using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Lightroom, and Trimble Sketchup, he specializes in articulating complex ideas through concise imagery, accessible to all.
